Matthew is an academic psychiatrist at the University of Warwick and Consultant Psychiatrist to the Coventry Early Intervention Team, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. I also currently chair the philosophy special interest group at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
He lives in South Warwickshire with his wife Louisa, and children Edward and Matilda. Favourite things include the Mighty Boosh, curry, Islay malt whisky, Evelyn Waugh, and philosophy.
With colleagues, Matthew co-founded the Maudsley Philosophy Group in 2002
