Thesis Title: Representational Content in Perceptual Experience

Bill Brewer
Matthew Soteriou

About

I am a final year PhD candidate at the University of Warwick where my research concerns the role of representational content in perceptual experience. In particular, I am looking at arguments against representational views of perceptual experience and the extent to which such views may be compatible with an essentially relational view of experience.

Other interests include the nature of mental content and representation, embodied mind and cognition, the metaphysics and consciousness of time and temporal passage, and the works of Thomas Reid and Ludwig Wittgenstein.
